Great area near the center, 2 trum stops from Dam Square. Lots of bars, cafes and coffee shops around and in Sunday there's a modern art market. Pricy but worth visiting.

Great place to relax during spring and summer. Lots of trendy bars and restaurants around the square, and trams run right by as well.

Nice place, surrounded by restaurants. You should try restaurant Szmulewicz, just off the Rembrandtplein at de Bakkersstraat. Before or after dinner, watch a movie at Tuschinski, a beautiful theater.
