This beautiful waterfall, Upper Horsetail Falls or Ponytail Falls, is just one of many interesting waterfalls to shoot in the Columbia River Gorge area of Oregon The trail to the falls is very short, making it quite a popular destination. The unique thing about Upper Horsetail Falls is the large overhang and trail behind the falls. It was very different to stand behind the waterfall looking out through the rushing water. I did take some shots from behind the falls but for now I like this view of it best.
