Catedral San Nicolas by Neil Cornwall

Taormina is a hilltop town on the east coast of Sicily. It sits near Mount Etna a still active volcano. The San Nicolas Cathedral was built around 1400 on the ruins of an ancient church. In October of 2016 my wife and I along with good friends visited parts of Italy, Spain, Portugal and France as part of a western Mediterranean cruise aboard the Celebrity Silhouette.
